Bead Classes in Sedona , Class Descriptions
and Online Registration

Thank you for visiting the Bead Garden of Sedona’s website. We offer northern Arizona’s largest selection of beads, tools, and supplies. We also offer classes for the beginning beader and the advanced bead artist. Below, please review our current class schedule and the list of all the classes we offer. If you are going to be in Sedona for a short time or the scheduled class time does not fit into your schedule, we offer private lessons at $20.00 per hour. These private lessons must be made in advance, as instructors are not always available. All of our classes are limited to four students or less, so sign up early as many classes fill quickly.

Basic Bead Stringing—Learn all about basic stringing while you make a bracelet and a necklace from a kit that is included with class fee.

NEW CLASS—Bead a Bead. This is quick and easy with lots of design possibilities. You provide all materials.

Rayne’s Tennis Bracelet—This is an intermediate class. Learn to make a new version of an old classic for a fraction of the price!

Twisted Ndebele—Intermediate class. Learn this stitch using size 8’s and 11 triangles.

Basic Wire wrapping—Learn the basics of wire wrapping. Materials and tool use included.

Ridge Peyote—A twist on the basic peyote. You must know peyote.

Basic Peyote—learn the stitch and how to read a chart.

Odd count tubular Peyote—another twist on this fun stitch.

Kumihimo—Learn the ancient art of Japanese weaving. Also learn how to use the “Bead Spinner” to make your “strands” of beads that you will weave. Make an appointment ahead of the class to learn how to spin, then come to class with your strands already made and ready to weave. You provide the beads and findings

Cellini Peyote—tubular peyote with a twist. Must know peyote.

Private lessons—available by appointment only. $20.00 per hour.

You must provide your own materials for all classes except knotting, basic bead stringing and wire wrapping.

Payment of class fee reserves your spot. A class may be canceled if no one has registered 24 hours before class.

Fine Print

** Private lessons ** Please take a look at our class board and our list of classes that are on the current schedule. If you see something you are interested in and it isn’t on the current schedule, we can arrange for a private class at $20.00 per hour. Special group classes can also be arranged in advance. Minimum of 2 persons will make a class.

Pre-registration and prepayment of class fee is required to hold your spot in a class. Class size is limited to 4 or less. If you plan to shop directly before class, be sure to allow yourself plenty of time before the start of class as classes start promptly. Class time lengths are approximate. Students receive a 10% discount on day of class. This discount may not be combined with any other discount or sale. Materials are not included unless specified. Please ask for a material list. No cell phones during class.
